A portable partial discharge locator system which can be temporarily set up to monitor
all the surrounding bays within a substation. Using similar Elimpus technology the
trailer is capable of detecting and locating partial discharges. Their location
is then transmitted through a wireless connection to our server where it is displayed
through our web portal in conjunction with trending and magnitude characteristics.

Partial discharges are known to fluctuate in density under various environmental
and load conditions. The trailer system allows these fluctuations to be monitored
and recorded without the need to connect to the plant under inspection. It is also
an easily deployable early warning system during any maintenance work.
